Dear Simon,

Thank you so much for meeting us yesterday and showing us the studio space. It was really lovely to meet you and everyone at choir is thrilled at the prospect of being able to use a space that is so suited to us, and with the generous offer from you of being able to use it without charge it really helps secure our future. Dan said to say hello, and he looks forward to catching up with you when he can.

If you would be able to put me in touch with Chrissy ? ( I hope I have remembered that correctly) maybe we could start to arrange some dates.

It was Thelma , one of our choir members, who first sent the link to us about the grant possibilities and I did ask her, she had read it on the 'I love Manchester' newsletter.  I'm sure you will have seen it, but this is the link below that she sent.

I  would like to say I'm so sorry to read about your friend, he just comes across as the loveliest person, and I know only too well how difficult it is to lose someone so kind and considerate of others to suicide, and in the case of Phil not that long ago. I lost my son, Joe, to suicide in April 2020. He was 27. There were no warnings at all that we were aware of. I look for signs from him all the time. It's very bittersweet that Phil's initials are the same as the acronym for positive mental attitude. One of Joe's beautiful friends had that tattooed on her ankle after he died, and also designed some graffiti for him, which is alongside the canal and can be seen on the tram from East Didsbury after Cornbrook - this was because Joe was always on the tram going somewhere. I realised last night that there is a small tag on the bottom right of the grafiti - pma. I feel he is telling me we are going in the right direction.

I look forward to hearing from you when it's convenient for you

Thank you

Frances
