Welcome to the first ever WIP Week at 53two!

Nobody supports new writing...apparently? Well not here! We're continuing to find new voices, new ideas and provide platforms for those who need them.

WIP Week is all about doing just that.

We're looking for completed* but never performed plays to take part in a rehearsed reading between the dates of 4th to 7th September. Plays should be either between 70-80 minutes, or between 50-55 minutes. Selected longer plays will take up one evening and shorter plays will be paired up to form a double-bill.

All plays will be rehearsed and read by a team of actors selected by 53two. Participants will be paid a £50 fee for each piece (you can submit more than one piece!).

Readers from 53two will select the plays to be read. 53two will sell tickets for £5 and provide PWYC tickets. Directors will be selected by 53two.
